EXPLORE THE RIVER WITH BELLINGEN CANOE ADVENTURES
The Bellinger River is a spectacular attraction in itself as it winds through the lush valley and releases into the ocean at Urunga. Riding on the Bellinger River, however, can take your humble river experience to the next level. Bellingen Canoe Adventures offer canoe hire as well as a variety of guided tours to get you comfortably and safely on the river. You can choose between flat water cruising, rapid adventures, a beautiful sunset ride or a very special full moon tour. Nail a hole in one at Bellingen Golf Club
Located centrally in town the Bellingen Golf Club hosts a 10 hole course amidst beautiful trees. Slowly hit your way through the day while you overlook the Bellinger River and gaze at the hinterland mountain ranges. Visitors and social players are welcome.
Trot through the rainforest at Valery Trails
Valery Trails is an award wining riding centre located just 20 minutes drive from Bellingen. Their qualified guides can take you on a slow walk through the the lush rainforest or a faster ride in the hills and valleys of the state forest. There are rides to suit all abilities and the horses are absolutely beautiful.
Breathe in the crips air at Dorrigo National Park
Bellingen is the gateway to the Waterfall Way, and Dorrigo just up the mountain is a must do. Dorrigo National Park is World Heritage listed boasting the most magnificent lush rainforest foliage, breathtaking waterfalls and unique fauna. Dorrigo National Park hosts an incredible sky walk with sweeping views over the valley, some excellent waterfall hikes, an interactive visitors centre and a gift shop. There is also a cafe on site and a number of green picnic areas to enjoy.
