2 | A day on the river
Take Dad out for an adventure on the spectacular Bellinger River. Bellingen Canoe Adventures is a stella local business offering canoe hire, as well as, a variety of guided tours. The team will get you and Dad comfortably and safely on the river. You can choose between flatwater cruising, rapid adventures or a beautiful sunset ride.
3 | Nail a hole-in-one at Bellingen Golf Club
Located centrally in town the Bellingen Golf Club hosts a 10 hole course amidst beautiful trees. You and your Dad can slowly hit your way through the day while you overlook the stunning Bellinger River and gaze at the hinterland mountain ranges. The club encourages visitors and social players.

4 | Picnic on the Bellinger banks
Pack your gourmet picnic treats, a frisbee and a beer or two, head to the banks of the beautiful Bellinger river and enjoy some outdoor time with Dad. Choose the time of day that suits you best: a crisp morning, balmy noon or enjoy the colourful sunset. You can spend hours eating, laughing and sipping in celebration of your Father.

5 | Pick up a plant (or flowers) from Habitat Bellingen
We squealed with delight when Habitat Indoor Nursery opened its doors in July. The store is bursting with healthy & happy indoor plants and heaps of accessories for green-thumb Dad’s. Habitat is just off the main street – look for the Pet Shop and head down the alleyway to find this newcomer to Bello.
